14th Citizen Police Academy The Jupiter Police Department, in an effort to continue our partnership with the citizens of Jupiter, is accepting registrations for its 14th Citizen Police Academy. The next academy will begin on Thursday, February 6, 2003 and run through March 18, 2003. The classes will be held every Thursday, from 6:30 P.M. - 9:30 P.M., at the Jupiter Police Department Briefing and Training Room. This seven-week academy will cover every area of police work and the department’s policies and procedures. Those who attend will finish this course with a better understanding of police work that the average citizen rarely has an opportunity to experience. There will be no cost for the course, however, seating is limited and is determined on a first come, first served basis.
