Chiropractic Helps Fight Ear Infections Next to the common cold, ear infections are the most commonly diagnosed childhood illness in the United States. More than three out of four children have had at least one ear infection by the time they're three. Most parents have traditionally depended on antibiotics to cure them. But today, more doctors are taking a wait-and-see approach, because research has shown that antibiotics can do more harm than good for ear infections and it is likely for the ear infections to recur following antibiotic use.
