Photos of Jupiter:
Jupiter Lighthouse: It took eight years for the lighthouse to be completed in 1859, and by the next year it shined it's first light, on July 10,1860. It received its red paint around 1910, and a few years ago it underwent a fresh coat. This photo was taken from Lighthouse Park.
Jupiter Lighthouse: This photo was taken from the US 1 drawbridge.
Coral Reef Park Beach: This photo is facing the south.
Juno Beach/Jupiter Park Pier: The pier is a great place for fishing, boat and people watching, or just relaxing. Look for an occasional iguana strolling by (a pet, of course!). This photo is facing the east.
Jupiter Town Clock: Located on Indiantown Road at Military Trail, this clock chimes the time to the town. This photo is facing the north.
Florida Atlantic University: The John D. MacArthur Campus is located on Parkside Drive in Jupiter.
Roger Dean Stadium: While this is the minor league home of the Jupiter Hammerheads, the Cardinals' and Expos' also do their spring training here.
South Jupiter Community Skate Park: This Abacoa park consists of a skate area (here is one photo), hockey rinks, basketball courts, racquetball courts, tennis courts, tennis building, and skate/hockey concession building. Planned: 5 baseball fields.
South Jupiter Community Skate Park: Here is another photo of the skating area. Read more about the park!
Photos of Tequesta:
Loxahatchee River: This view of the river was taken from the bridge on Tequesta Drive, facing north.
Tequesta Park: Located on County Line Road, this park has a fun playground for children.
Tequesta Park: With a baseball field and covered area, this park is a favorite for community events.
Constitution Park: Parents love this park for it's two sets of playgrounds -- one for the older children and one for the little ones (but we know that the older children really enjoy both).
Constitution Park: A basketball court stands beside this beautifully styled gazebo -- an excellent place for just hanging out :-).
