Description: This park has the famous "Imagination Station", a huge wooden, fortress-type playground where children can climb and hide and use their imagination! Of course, there are adult and baby swings also, and even tire swings! The flooring is sand. There are shuffleboard courts next to the parking lot, picnic tables, and volleyball and basketball courts. There are paths to walk, and a nice area with a foot bridge that goes over a pond. There are usually ducks there, so don't forget to bring scraps of bread :). Over the bridge there are picnic tables and a picnic pavilion that offers some shade. Other shady areas can be found under the trees or under some parts of the playground fortress. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms :(.
What will parents like most? Moms and Dads will love the atmosphere! They're also sure to enjoy "playing" in the fortress and walking around the pond and feeding the ducks. The most important fact is that their kids will have such a wonderful time here! Safety tip: There are places for parents to sit in the fortress while their children play, but from personal experience I know that you will not be able to see your children from every angle, especially if they're playing inside the fortress. That's fine for parents who don't have a problem not knowing where their child is at every moment, but in a public park setting such as this, it happens to be an easy place for a child to get lost or snatched by someone while no one is looking. The fencing is low on all sides and anyone can enter and leave the park area from any side. Please watch your children :).
What will kids like most? Just try and get your kids to leave Imagination Station :-)!
