Description: This contemporary ceramic studio is run by Maryellen Pearson. When you walk into this studio, you'll find ceramic pieces such as bowls, animal figures, and holiday figures, along the walls. There are tables and chairs and a few booths, and an assortment of paint colors to help you create a work of art. A rack of cards is available for you to find an image for inspiration :-). There is currently a class held on Tuesdays at 10am for adults (call ahead to confirm time).
What will parents like most? Parents will love that their children, even young children, can create something personalized and very usable. Ceramic gifts are great for the holidays! Maryellen is also there to instruct, and to give ideas in case you need help. Ceramic creations are "Tomorrow's memories," says Maryellen. I personally enjoyed helping my daughter create a breakfast bowl - it was a nice way to spend some time together :-).
What will kids like most? Children will love painting - there are just so many items and paint colors to choose from!
