When should you evacuate?
Category 1 Hurricanes
- All barrier islands.
- All mobile homes.
- Areas known to be subject to severe flooding from intense rainfall.
- Land within the Hoover Dike.
- All structures considered to be of sub-standard construction.
Category 2-3 Hurricanes
- All areas from the above category.
- All homes of substandard construction.
- East of Bush Road north of Toney Penna Drive.
- Within one block of the Intracoastal Waterway north of Northlake Boulevard.
- Within one block of the Intracoastal Waterway, between Northlake Boulevard and the Boca Raton city limits
Category 4-5 Hurricanes
- All areas from the above categories.
- East of Limestone Creek Road north of Indiantown Road.
- East of Maplewood Drive north of Indian Creek Parkway.
- East of Alternate A1A north of Frederick Small Road.
- Within two blocks of the Intracoastal Waterway between Frederick Small Road and the Boca Raton city limits.
