Hi! We're glad you're interested in joining the South Florida Parents Webring! This webring is for South Florida Parents, working, stay-at-home, and stay-at-home & working! If you're a South Florida parent with a website, we invite you to join our webring and help bring together a variety of websites and parents!
"I'm a South Florida Parents, and I have a website...but what's this webring thing?" A webring is a group of websites that have something in common - a "theme". Our theme, is South Florida Parents. This group of websites will be linked together by a specific HTML code, which will allow Internet users to visit each webring member's website. Visitors will eventually be lead back to the page they started with, but depending on how many websites are in a particular ring, it may take a while!
Below are some requirements that your website must meet before we include you in the South Florida Parents Webring:
Your website must be family-friendly and viewable to children. No adult, pornographic, "X", racist, or similar websites will be accepted. Any website found with this content will not be allowed or it will be removed from the ring immediately.
We will not accept any websites that are "Under Construction" or "Opening Soon" - there must be some existing content, and not just mainly links to other websites. We retain the right to refuse any submission for membership into the South Florida Parents Webring, for any reason.
Personal and commercial websites are both accepted.
The required ring code must be added within one week of being accepted into the webring. If we see that the code has not been added after one week, we will suspend your website from the ring. The HTML code must be on the page that you are submitting (please don't make others search for your webring code). If you add the code to your main page, submit the URL of that page. If you have a separate webring page, submit the URL of that page.
If you meet all the requirements listed above, you may fill out an application to join the ring by filling out our form below. Once you have added yourself to the queue, you will be sent an e-mail with how to add the Ring code to the webpage that you submitted.
Once you've added the code to your page, Email us and we will review your site to see if the code has been added.
If your site is approved, we will then activate your ID number. We will do our best and have your site added to the ring as soon as we can...please be patient. If you have any problems, please Email us and we will do our best to help you.
How do we ensure the integrity of the ring?
We will occasionally check Ring Members' websites to make sure that they are still up and that they contain the required ring code. If any webpage is found lacking the proper HTML code, the webmaster will be emailed and notified that they have 7 days to correct the problem or the page will be removed from the ring. Once a page has been removed, it will have to be re-submitted in order to be accepted back into the ring. This feature is necessary to ensure that our ring can be complete and enjoyed.
